Lot of 4 FENTON Hand Painted Frosted White Satin Glass Small Boot Shoe

Description: In the early and mid-20th century, glassmakers like Fenton Art Glass started producing these tiny glass shoes or slippers in a variety of colors from molds in cut glass patterns. Available for sale are 4 excellent examples of hand painted, satin white, glass ladies slippers. Produced circa 1990, three of these these small boot styles were available in a series called The Legend of the Secret Slipper. The slightly larger shoe represents a Daisy and Button design. All have the Fenton seal in an oval circle on the bottom. Perfect on display, in a curio, or used as a pin cushion, salt cellar, candy dish or for a small Victorian flower display.
