Description: Striking nine-branch meorah featuring a botanical "Tree of Life" design in rich verdigris greens and burnished reds. Elegantly crafted of wrought copper, this is a large statement menorah, measuring approximately 27 x 16, on a 6” diameter genuine marble base. Very heavy, weighing about 8 ½ lbs. Holders have inner-diameter of 10mm (just over ⅜”). Overall good condition. Beautifully handmade with repoussé grape leaves, delicate tendrils, and bold petal blooms. Some flaking to verdigris patination on leaves — that’s part of the beauty, revealing lovely autumnal copper tones. Gorgeous gleaming colors. Unsigned, but likely made in Israel in the 1960s. This is a unique example of the form — none like it can be found online.
