Description: Nice used short block removed from a running John Deere 420. This was a county maintained unit, hours are unknown but the unit was running great when removed and started great with no smoke. Engine idled good and had good power under load. Oil was nice and clean and all threads are in good condition. It will need an new oil pan seal as it was seeping a little and was torn further when the oil pan was removed to check the bottom end. Comes only as shown. After pictures cylinders were fogged, intakes and cylinders were covered and bagged for storage. Engine will ship with the oil filter installed for added protection. See photos
