Description: NOTE: This is a nice vintage card. There are no creases. The bottom left corner is sharp. The other 3 corners are so slightly dinged that it can hardly be noticed. They are in excellent condition. The card is off center to the point that there is no white border on the left side. Many of Jerry's '61 Fleer cards were cut off center. This is a very clean card and the coloring is just as it was when it left its pack. Jerry Tubbs was a Linebacker in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys from 1957 through 1967. He was a Pro Bowl selection in 1962. In college he played for Oklahoma. He won the Knute Rockne Memorial Trophy in 1956and was named the UPI Lineman of the Year in 1956 and was a unanimous All-American the same year. He is a member of the Oklahoma Football All-Century Team. Jerry was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1996. After his retirement from the NFL he stayed with the Cowboys as an Assistant Coach for 22 years.
