Description: Japanese Porcelain Ware decorated in Hong Kong ACF, Brass Encased Red Enameled. This is an absolutely beautiful shallow bowl with a deep red background. The edge of the bowl depicts a ring of white flowers and black leaves. The central section of the bowl has pinkish lilies with two shades of green leaves. The finish is very shiny and appears to be enameled. The whole piece is encased in a brass ring around the edge which extends to the back side of the dish. It is marked ACF which means that the body of the bowl was made in Japan but the decorations were done in Hong Kong. There is one small dent in the brass on the back side as pictured. S
