Description: Taken from a collection of photos documenting a military photographer's time documenting various Pacific Theater locations in 1944 and 1945. Here he witnessed the historic moment a group of Japanese delegates boarded an American C-54 Transport at Ie Shima, Japan, where they would fly to Manila to negotiate the Japanese surrender of World War II. Similar photos can be found online, however these have never been seen publicly until now. Eight photos total. Each photo's size is slightly different, but on average they measure roughly 4.5" by 3.25". Photos are slightly tacky on the reverse from being placed in a self-adhesive photo album. Photos will be shipped USPS Priority due to their historic value. I've got more vintage photographs at my store and happy to bundle shipping.
