JACK RUSSELL WAS A PITCHER IN THE MAJOR LEAGUES FOR 15 YEARS--- WITH THE RED SOX FROM 1926-1932, & AGAIN IN 1936, WITH THE INDIANS IN 1932, WITH THE SENATORS FROM 1933-1936, WITH THE TIGERS IN 1937, WITH THE CUBS FROM 1938-1939, AND WITH THE CARDINALS IN 1940. HIS BEST SEASON WAS IN 1933, WHEN HE HAD A WON-LOSS RECORD OF 12-6. WAS AN AMERICAN LEAGUE ALL-STAR IN 1934. JACK RUSSELL DIED NOVEMBER 3, 1990.
