I believe that is because this photo was taken from the movie film reels, and not a photograph. I have 6 copies of this book, (including my own personal copy) and they all are identical. I believe that all printed copies of this book are like this, but I did need to point out and explain why I think that particular photo is like that.If you loved John Lennon and the Beatles, then you definitely need this definitive book on the making of the Imagine album.The books I am selling are brand new (old stock), and in excellent condition.
