Modernistic cityscape. Oil on canvas. Original solid wood frame with painted finish. Signed lower left: "Carlo". There are various numbers marked on the back of the stretcher. I have no biographical information on the artist. 1960s I believe. USA. CONDITION: PAINTING Condition: The painting is in excellent original condition. No damage or wear. No restorations or touch ups. No nicks, chips, losses, scratches, gouges, dents, cracks, scuffs. No loose, flaking or missing paint. No noticeable slackness in the canvas. No dents or pokes to the canvas. No water/moisture damage. Generally clean as found. No stains, soiling, grime, discolorations, cigarette residue. No cigarette or other unpleasant odors. The stretcher is structurally sound with no issues. FRAME Condition: There is a long tight split to the right vertical side of the frame. There is a chip and small split to the top left rear corner. Consult photos for all of this. Otherwise the frame is in very good original condition with no other damage or significant wear. No restorations. No other chips, splits, cracks, etc. No looseness or structural issues. No dings, dents. No significant scratches or rubs. No water/moisture damage. On close inspection you may detect some typical light handling wear to the frame: scattered small scratches and edge rubs. Nothing significant or conspicuous.
