Description: This vintage little golden book from 1951 is a must-have for any fan of early TV history. Written by Edward Kean, the book follows the adventures of Howdy Doody and Clarabell in a charming and illustrated format. It's a hardcover edition, published by Simon & Schuster in New York City, and is in its original form. The inside is in wonderful condition with just the owners signature on inside cover. The cover does have some rubs on edges and corner, tiny rip on top binding edge (see last photo) and some smudges front and back from storage but still bright and beautiful cover image and really displays great in book sleeve. So not perfect but still displays great, especially in the clear book sleeve it comes in. Please look over my photos. It will be well protected when shipped.
