Description: Herbert Terry Early 2 Step Crossover 1227 Anglepoise Lamp Matt Pastel Green / Chrome - Circa Late 1930's Totally restored in Matt Pastel Green This is from the late 1930's, the 3 Step was made between 1935-38 and this lamp has elements of the original 3 step, namely the slim perforated shade and the chromed steel arms which are exactly the same as the original 3 step, as are the uncapped springs. The base has a cover that was used on the later 2 step 1227 model. Hence the widely used term ' crossover' Original Crabtree bakelite bulb holder, rewired with new black 3 core twisted flex, period 3amp fused plug and new green baize to the base. In very good condition with no flaking to the chrome arms although there is some minor surface rust. The shade is true to shape a small dent to the top and some pitting to the underside. (See pictures). Holds any position. Will be supplied with an Energiser warm white LED GLS 8.2W (60w replacement) 806 Lumens A+ rated bulb.
