Description: These are a wonderful Way to Complete your Mexican out fit. I have loved the Weaving from this community in Oaxaca From the 1st time I visited Santo Tomas Jalieza! The women from this community have been hand weaving this type of Thin belts / Hat Bands / Ribbons on a back strap looms for centuries (see photo #6). These belts have been transported and traded with the Mayan Women of Guatemala for hundred of years. The measurements are below. 1.) Blue, Black & White: 1 1/4 inches wide & 69 inches long (not including the Fringe). 2.) Black, Red & White: 1 1/4 inches wide & 70 inches long (not including the Dolls). 3.) Tan, Black & White: 1 1/4 inches wide & 69 inches long (not including the Fringe). 4.) Pink & Black: 1 1/4 inches wide & 56 inches long (not including the Fringe). 5.) Gray & Black: 1 1/8 inches wide & 71 inches long (not including the Fringe). 6.) Lime Green, Dark Green & White: 1 inch wide & 71 inches long (not including the Fringe). 7.) Royal Blue & Powder Blue: 1 inch wide & 72 inches long (not including the Fringe). 8.) Turquoise, Black & White: 1 1/8 inches wide & 71 inches long (not including the Fringe). 9.) Coco Brown, Black & White: 1 1/4 inches wide & 65 inches long (not including the Fringe). The weaving from this community is very reasonably priced, and the images that they incorporate into their weavings are often very traditional but can also be playful too. Some of the belts that I offer here have images of the famous Plumed Dancers as well as rabbits, birds, scorpions and other animals woven into them.
