Description: Offered for sale is a hand poured sterling silver ingot weighing 680 grams. It contains only silver from items marked "sterling" or "925" and I have also thrown in some 999 silver, so it is at least 925. The acid test yields a dark red color which indicates silver. That can be seen in photos 5, 6, & 7. Earlier today, November 1, 2024, the price of 999 silver was $32.80 per ounce, or $1.05 per gram. Sterling would be 92.5% of that amount or $0.97 per gram. At 680 grams, this ingot has a market value of $659.50. Since I didn't pay that much for it, I can offer it at a much lower price. I'm asking $500.00, which is putting $160.00 profit in the buyer's pocket. I stand by the content and purity of this ingot.
