Description: This is a Silver plated cased pendant Curb chain necklace made from a HALF PENNY coin. They are from 1937 to 1967 and all feature The Golden Hind which completed it's circumnavigation of the globe in 1580. All my coins have been in circulation so may show some minor imperfections but they are in very good condition with fine detail. They are highly polished to a mirror finish and then lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The pendant case is Silver plated with a spiral detail on the rear and a diameter of approx. 27 mm, height 35 mm. The Curb chain is Silver plated with a Lobster claw clasp. Length 450 mm (18") which can extend to 500 mm (20"). Link size 5 x 3 mm.
