Description: ~*~Hello and Welcome to the Textile Trunk~*~ This textile is an amazing Vintage hand-woven hemp grain sack from Europe! This gorgeous and rare textile has the most wonderful wide charcoal black stripes dating from circa 1900-1920! This sack was hand woven using a natural cotton and hemp with a twill weave. This sack has a lovely off-white natural toned ground. There is a herringbone weave drawstring at the top opening. I recommend only dry cleaning this rare textile as the fiber content is both cotton and linen and they can shrink at different rates creating a slight buckle, so best to dry clean. ~*~ A rare and wonderful textile ~ Lovely for table runner, decorative pillows etc, ! ~*~ ~*~ ! ~*~ ( 921 ) CONDITION: This sack is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. ~*~ There are about 3 small marks on one side and about 2 on the other side that may or may not wash fully, otherwise lovely!! There are some loose threads in the weave here and there. MEASUREMENTS: This lovely sack measures approx. 16.5 inches wide by 51.5 inches long ( of course it has 2 sides so twice the length) 6/19/19
