Description: Here is a neat 87 year old vintage Annual Reports Issue of The Advocate — an official publication of the Germantown, Pennsylvania Lutheran Home for Orphans and Aged. This publication is dated July 1938. This Volume XXVIII and Number 2. There are 15 pages in this publication. There is one black and photo on page 9 showing some kids riding a little gasoline motored racer car that was constructed and donated by Mr. E. W. Stephany of Zion Church in Olney, Pennsylvania. Pamphlet measures 6 inches by 9 inches. Good minus to acceptable condition. Front cover and dirt three pages have a moisture stain. There is a pencil mark on page 4 and a minor fade or acid stain between page 4 and 5 at the binding seam. The extreme bottom left corner of the back cover has a corner torn off measuring about 1/8 inch by 3/4 inch. There is diagonal crease on back cover and also minor staining. . There is also a printed name and address on back cover. No other owner’s name, no other tears, no other creases, no dog ears, no other writing, no odors. All pages and covers are tight and intact.
