Yes I have had great success using those detectors and I paid more money. Yes I had to be tethered in as well and needed a swing arm. The new Axiom by Garrett is the best value new high end detector out there and it even has features my $8500 Mine??? does not. It can see big specimen gold my Minelab can not. Folks, I don't make this stuff up. I want to know myself as I am a detectorist. I want the best tool for the task. I'm not afraid to spend the money. If I find a new detector that is just as good and for less money, that's what I recommend and use. If I find a new detector that can do more and it priced right, then that is what I use and recommend. I'm not saying the Mine???e is no good.
