Description: For sale is a superb little vase made by Sevres in 1897. It is covered in a mottled deep cobalt blue color meant to imitate Lapis Lazuli and has a simple gold trim along the top, bottom and shoulder edge. Really a very elegant looking example! The vase is in great condition with some very minor scratches to the clear glaze. It displays perfectly and looks amazing! It is marked underneath with the S.97 oval mark in green as well as their red Dore a Sevres circular mark with the year mark 97 in it and an artist mark near the foot ring plus the usual incised marks underneath as shown. The vase is7.75 inches tall and 3.5 inches in diameter. The top has a diameter of just over 2.25 inches.
