Description: A Tony Bennett Limited Edition Lithograph depiction of FRANK SINATRA / #862 of 1,000 and Signed in pencil by Tony Bennett/Benedetto (a.k.a.Tony Bennett) - This is a prize piece in excellent condition. Modestly framed and ready to hang. The original was painted by Tony in the 90's and depicts Frank wearing an orange necktie (one of his favorite colors) and his signature black pork-pie hat. Tony Bennett was a dedicated painter whose interest in art began in his childhood. His artwork has been good enough to be exibited in galleries around the world. In 2001, he was chosen to be the official artist of the Kentucky Derby and painted two original pieces in celebration of the event. The United Nations also commissioned him for several paintings, including one in celebration of its 50th anniversary. Unlike many other celebrities who became famous and then chose to take up painting, Tony actually attended the High School of Industrial Arts where he studied with many great artists. He almost chose art and painting but was persuaded by his music teacher to stick with music. Tony's deep respect for Frank as a musical peer are evident in the care taken to detail including painting Franks' signature apparel using Frank's favorite colors.
