Description: Beautiful vintage large cookie jar canister made by Franciscan Pottery, USA, California, Gladding. Made in the 1950s. This is their “Apple” pattern. Beautiful rich colors, hand painted underneath the glaze. Measures about 10” tall to the top of the little apple knob, and about 6” in diameter in the center. Perfectly clean, and looks almost like it was not even used. Wonderful condition. No cracks. Only one teeny little tiny shallow chip on the inside of the rim of the bowl. Barely noticeable. Cannot be seen on the outside. I have encircled the spot in the last photo. Everything else is perfect. Thanks for looking. Please let me know if you have any questions.
