The tooth measures approx. 4 cm tall (1 1/2"). This is a finely conserved specimen with great patina in a nuance of colors. It will come to you in the box shown along with the custom base that appears to be bronze (the stand is on the heavy side), Tyrannosaurus rex, (from the Latin Rex, meaning "king"), colloquially known as T-Rex, was one of the largest carnivores of all time. A theropod dinosaur belonging to the Tyrannosauridae family, it lived during the Maastrichtien stage of the late Cretaceous period, around 68-66 million years ago, in what is now western North America.
