He soon settled in Laguna Beach where he participated in the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts and the Art-a-Fair. During his career of over 50 years, Ron produced paintings, drawings, jewelry, and sculpture. His concentration on sculpture came from his fascination with three dimensions and a desire to create “real” objects.Ron’s sculptural work mainly depicts the human figure in motion. Created from steel rods welded together, these works are noted for their balance, power, grace, and sensitivity. Ron also produced detailed drawings in both pencil and pen and ink.
