Fender Japan ST-62 Stratocaster Vintage Reissue Torino Red Rare OOP

Description: Up for sale is a rare Fender Japan ST-62 Vintage Reissue finished in a very nice and rare Torino Red color in very good / excellent condition. The finish has aged and has darkened a bit. It features a mint green pickguard with aged pick up covers, aged control knobs. These parts have also naturally aged and discolored as well giving this guitar a real cool vintage / aged look. The pickups are USA Fender Vintage ones.It is Crafted in Japan with serial# P008XXX which dates it to being manufactured between 1999 - 2002. The nut measures 1 5/8" (42mm) and the neck profile is close to a comfortable C shape. The frets are vintage style frets and they show little wear and with plenty of life left. The guitar will be shipped in Fender Japan original gig bag with the original tremolo arm (with aged tip) original warranty card and manual. I will bubble wrap the guitar before placing it inside the gig bag to better protect it during shipping. There are some nicks, dings and scratches especially in the back and sides - I tried to show these in the photos. If you are really picky about the fine cosmetic details, this guitar is not for you so please look elsewhere. I imported it from Japan a while back and it stayed in the original gig bag for the most part I owned it. I changed the strings to D'Addario 9 -42 and it is tuned 1/2 step down. The guitar not only looks great but it plays and sounds great as well! The pick ups and electronics have aged and so the tone is really close to real Vintage aged ones.
