Description: Up for sale is a very very special guitar that I didn't think I'd ever let go of. Unfortunately having kids and all the expense that comes with that mean I now have to pass this on.If you attended NAMM 2018, you may have seen this guitar as Fender custom built it to display there.It is absolutely top of its class, and as you can imagine as a showpiece for NAMM, they put everything into it to make it shine.They describe it as "VINTAGE CUSTOM 1959 STRATOCASTER - FADED/AGED SHORELINE GOLD"It looks absolutely incredible. It has some really tasteful aging done by the factory, but it's not like one of those where it looks like they've attacked it with a belt sander. (I'm not usually a 'relic' guy.) It has the nicest neck I've ever seen on a Strat, beautiful quilted maple. The top is AAA rosewood, the pickups are hand wound 59's and sound out of this world.The neck is based on an esquire. It's a '59 Esquire 'C' shape. It's very medium - not too thin but not too thick either. It feels extremely nice in the hand. Everything is working as it should. It has never been gigged - it's never actually left my house. Well looked after and plays really really well. Frets are in great condition with very little to no wear.I am the first owner, still has the case candy, the silly ash tray cover, even the picks and strap.It also has the COA as well as the build sheet - photos attached - so you can see everything they did.Also comes with a brown case with a very tasty orange interior.
