Description: Offered for your consideration is a set of three green glass individual berry bowls made by the Dalzell, Gilmore and Leighton Works of the National Glass Company (1899-1901) in their pattern number 79D. Also known as "Serrated Teardrop", this was introduced as a new pattern in 1900. There are engraved floral designs on underside of each bowl. The bowls measure 4.25 inches (10.8 cm) in diameter to outer edge of scallops and are 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) tall. One of the small bowls has three consecutive scallops that are fully formed; this bowl also has a short crack/fracture in bottom and is being sold "as is". The two other bowls are in excellent used condition with no cracks, chips, noticeable scratches, roughness, nor repairs. Bowls are used so there may be minor wear, faint surface scratches, or additional indications of use. See photos. The green glass is clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There may be bubbles, shear (straw) marks, and other minor imperfections due to the manufacturing process used at the time. Set of three individual berry bowls will be shipped from a smoke-free home and will be packed securely for shipping. Good luck and thank you for your interest.
