Description: Display plaque of 22 unusual telephone ringer bellsA collector created this wood plaque about forty or fifty years ago. I'd enjoy having this around, but I am running out of wall space. Most of these bells look like they are shiny nickel-plated brass. These bells are old, likely going back to the early 1900s or possibly the late 1800s.The design of the bell determined the sound it made when rung.To accumulate these bells took years to complete and involved a concentrated search. This display will enhance anyone's collection of telephone equipment or bells. The item measures 21-3/4" H x 22-3/4" W x 1/2" thick (those are the dimensions of the wood piece at its widest and tallest points). A hanging wire is attached to the back for easy wall mounting. Please be sure to read the description Sold As IS; and if you have any questions please call us at Phonecoinc. No returns.
