Description: PRODUCT DETAILS From Department 56's limited Williamsburg Village Department 56, in conjunction with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, introduced this collection in 2010 at a special Announcement Gathering in Williamsburg, VA. The pieces, in this authentically reproduced Village, showcase early American life. This series is similar to other Heritage Village Series pieces and are made of porcelain. The Williamsburg Village is designed to stand alone, or it can easily be an extension of New England Village. The collection is ideal for patriotic Fourth of July displays or vignettes. After five years of production, it was announced in 2016 that the collection would be suspended until such time as new items would be introduced. Today, the majority of the city's restored buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. * Majestic double-horse-drawn coach replicates those seen on the streets of Williamsburg to this day. * Coordinating accessory to "Taliaferro-Cole Shop". Many buildings have one or more areas of increased fragility, such as signs, lamps, spires, balconies, etc. Please take care to only handle by the solid porcelain sections of the building or accessory. ** We recently received almost the entire Christmas in the City, Alpine Village, North Pole, Disney Parks Village series and other Dept 56 villages from a former dealer and serious collector who took great pride in her collection. In order to list as many pieces as quickly as possible, we may just show the box/sleeve in the photos. We absolutely promise that all buildings and accessories list are in perfect, working condition with all separate attachments included. For serious buyers, we are more than happy to take pictures of the individual items prior to shipment at the buyer's direction. USE & CONDITION Dealer display from two retail locations shown to potential customers in a glass-enclosed cabinet. No handling allowed. Then stored in a climate-controlled, smoke-free stockroom. Box and sleeve with expected shelf wear given the age of this item and some damage (taped) cracks in the Styrofoam box. The box remains fully functional and protects the coach well. Any noted chips, cracks, missing items, or deficits of ANY type will be disclosed here: NONE IDENTIFIED. ** We use a "ring" lamp to photograph many of our items. We also use a lot of Styrofoam in our shipping process. If any presumed defects are noted in the photos of any of our pieces, they are likely from the light's reflection or a stray small flake of Styrofoam that was not noticed during the photo session.
