Buy the mini bird and you will be hummin a tune all the way to the bank. Installation: Mount switch in a protected area like under console or fuse bay. Connect (included) power cable to a 1 amp fuse on your fuse block or add a 1 amp inline fuse and connect directly to 12 volt power block or battery. If box will be in an area where it may get wet then slide the included heat shrink tubing on the power cable. Connect cable male 2 pin plug to switch female plug. (Plug is keyed but forcing it could defeat the key so be careful). Slide shrink tubing over the connector and use a heat gun or other heat source to shrink the tubing over the connector. With power button in the off position (power light off), Connect Ethernet cables from your devices to the switch. Power the switch by pressing the power button (switch lights up) Turn on your units and accessories and verify connectivity to each other. Note led lights will flash to indicate the hub has detected a device on its port. If the light stays off it could mean the cable is defective or the unit you are connected to has no power. It may take up to a minute for your units to establish communication with connected devices. To check connectivity go to your accessory test screen and check all connected accessories are showing connected. To verify that the head units see each other go to your network setup screen and tab to the gps screen. All your connected fishfinders should be listed.
