Lastly, we used the thickest bus wire we know that is reasonable for grounding, which is 16AWG. The thickest we’ve seen used otherwise is 18 AWG - we wanted stronger….like rollbar cage strong! It also acts as a protective barrier and a steady frame without the clutter and sometimes non fitting grounding plates! Plus, those are ugly as 💩. We’ve also read that when you have a grounding plate and ground the pots as well, it causes issues! We knew there was something wrong with that but it’s backed up by electrical engineering as well. No refunds or returns on these.
