Description: WARNING: To Mega live owners… Some users have reported compatibility issues using the Bird with live. The unit worked fine with ver 1.13 when only the live and the helix 9 where connected to the switch but once moved to the boat with other units it failed to connect. Other customers with versions 1.14 and 1.15 also couldn’t connect to the live with the bird. Be aware before you buy if you have problems with connecting the bird to your mega live you will be responsible for return shipping should you choose to return it. Connect (included) power cable to your fuse block or connect directly to 12 volt power block or battery. With power button in the off position (power light off), Connect Ethernet cables from your devices to the switch. Power the switch by pressing the power button (switch lights up) Turn on your units and accessories and verify connectivity to each other. Note led lights will flash to indicate the hub has detected a device on its port. If the light stays off it could mean the cable is defective or the unit you are connected to has no power. It may take up to a minute for your units to establish communication with connected devices. To check connectivity go to your accessory test screen and check all connected accessories are showing connected. To verify that the head units see each other go to your network setup screen and tab to the gps screen. All your connected fishfinders should be listed.
