ASK ABOUT OUR LOCK TRADE IN PROGRAM CORBIN 1251 MORTISE DOOR LOCK w/KEY 7" FACE 2 1/2" BS (18193) Vintage, circa 1900-20: Salvaged P.F. CORBIN mortise lock #1251 entry mortise lock, featured in their catalogs from about 1899. Push button entry mortise has been cleaned and fully restored. We include the key which opens the door from either side. The lock is reversible. MORTISE LOCK BOX: Mortise lock has a Japanned face plate with a great patina and a length of 7" and a width of 1" and thickness of 1/16". BACKSET: Backset (the distance from the front edge of the face plate to the center of the knob post hole is 2 1/2". SCREWS: Screws are on 6" centers. BOX: The box measures 3 9/16" deep from the front edge of the brass faceplate to the back of the box and it measures 4 3/4" top to bottom. DROP: The drop from the center of the knob post hole to the center of the round portion at the top of the key slot is 3". KNOB POST or KNOB SHAFT: The lock accommodates a standard split knob post for a hub opening of 3/8" for the outside and 5/16" for the inside.
