Description: VERY NICE COLLECTION OF LOOSE IMPORTED SCOTCH WHISKEY PRIMARY AND SECONDARY NEW UNUSED LABELS, AND STICKERS! They were found in a damaged binder - front cover missing - in a basement. Each leaf has black paper backing and clear thick plastic protectors, and included labels on both sides of the leaf. The labels and other items were loose in these protectors. The first few leafs had some soiling and light moisture, and a few labels were partially stuck to the backing black paper. I removed a few from the backing, one single label was slightly damaged. I am unable to date these - I would guess in the middle of the 20th century based on the estate it was found in. In all, there were labels/stickers from about 50 different scotch whiskys, most produced in Scotland, with a few from Canada and France. Each brand had a number of labels, the major and minor ones, "Produced in Scotland" wrap-arounds, and other sub-labels. There were many duplicates. The Scotch Whiskey items included in this collection are: Produced in Scotland: Talloch, Special Scot, Scots Gold, Gold Label, Santarpia, Sir Robert, Duncansbay, Glenn Castle, Estate Royal, Scottish Royal, The Kansas City Club, Loch Haven, Rare Scot, Sabenadica, House of Peers, Lord North, Scots Pride, Sir Walter Raleigh, House of Appin, Drury's Special Reserve, Raleigh, Scotts Regal, Great Scot, Grant Circle, Loch Haven, Estate Royal, Langside, Royal Stag, Lord Jim, Royal Highlands, Ancient Scot, Auld Mac Fie, A.B. Grant Co, Duncansbay, Hammer's Castle.. There were a dozen or more unique "Product of Scotland" labels which identify "Scotch Whisky" or "Blended Scotch Whisky", which appeared to have been produced for specific taverns and had blank or filled-in areas for tavern names. For example, one such "Blended Scotch Whisky" was made for "Riverdale Royal Vat". Produced in France: Napoleon Brand French Brandy Produced in Canada: Canadian Glen Whisky, Blended Canadian Whisky, Hoffman House One unusual label: Red's Pure Old Panther Piss by Moonshiners Uplift Society (old label encased in plastic).
