This auction is for the 2016 "Vintage Bookshelf Edition" of the great Parker Brothers game Clue. Contents: Outer slipcase, book-style storage for everything, instructions, fold-open game board, six nice wood-and-metal playing pieces, six weapons (five of them metal, plus a piece of string representing the rope -- which was a weird choice, but possibly faithful to what was in the original box way back when), six Clue pencils, a pad of detective notes (at least a couple of pages missing, but is is nearly complete), all cards (six suspects, six weapons, nine locations) in a slim box, "Solution Cards" envelope, ivory-color die, and for some reason a black envelope that says "Pencils," even though the pencils are in a clear envelope already. The outer slipcase measures 10 5/8 inches by 8.25 inches. The board measures 18 1/8 inches by 18.5 inches. The board has the number 17212 printed in tiny letters on the back, which apparently is the catalog number for the game. (The same number appears next to the UPC code on the bottom of the slipcase. The UPC number is 850580006332.) CONDITION: Very Good condition with these flaws: There is a 1.5 inch split at the bottom right corner of the back of the slipcase (see close-up above). The slipcase also has some very minor impressions and scuffs, definitely not a big deal. The little cellophane envelope that holds the pencils is partially split, but not enough that the pencils fall out. (A piece of tape would solve this problem, but I'll leave it up to you whether you want to bother.) You'll love it! Any questions, just ask!
