Description: Offered are a Civil War Infantry Kepi Insignia and a Hardee Hat Eagle pin both are which are in excellent condition along with the numbers and lettering also in fine excellent condition and having the rear mounting hooks still intact . These are not excavated and in perfect shape considering their age . The New York State excelsior’s buttons and Connecticut buttons are excavated and came out of the ground from the Chancellorsville battlefield immediate area in Virginia it was un earthed in the early 1970’s . The buttons still all have the shanks remaining and are very seldom found in an A excavated artifact .
