AllBrandssourced it from Alphasew. We originally purchased it for our Bernina 830 Recordsewing machine, but accidentally ordered the 220V version instead of the 110Vversion. We couldn’t return it becausewe had waited to install it and when we noticed our error, it was past thereturn window. Although this ispre-owned, it is unused. It is being shipped in its original packaging, it is essentially new. It was only taken out if its original plastic wrapping to photograph it for this listing. Please note this is for 220V machines (not 110V). 220V machines are much more common in Europe and Africa than in the United States. Also,please note it is designed only for Type 213 or 232 Foot Control/Power Cords. According to the website of the company we originallyordered it from, this motor is compatible with several Bernina sewing machinemodels: 707, 708, 709, 717, 718, 719, 727, 728, 729, 801, 801s, 802, 802s, 803,803s, 807, 808, 809, 810, 830 Record, 831, 832. But it works only with type 213and 232 Foot Control/Power Cords. We asked the company we purchased this from if this could be used in 110V machinesand their answer was “no”.
