Description: Vintage Bell RT Helmet 1975 ( Leather strap shows manufacture date) NEW OLD STOCK! Please read entire listing! A true classic, this helmet may be one of just a handful from this period that has never been used! I found this helmet stashed away in a retail box for another 1970's helmet along with other period motocross items. There is no sign of use, but unfortunately like most of these helmets from this time the black foam padding on the interior of the helmet crumbled in my hands like dust when I touched it. The rest of the helmet looks like new with the exception of some very light yellowing from age in the clear plastic face shield, and 3 tiny, tiny marks on the white cap itself (Shown in pictures with red pen). I have little doubt that this helmet was brand new when it was last put away, as there was still paper in the box and long ago rotted rubber bands securing the straps. Interior is labeled a size 7 1/4 Clear Visor & silver shield shown are included along with the paperwork (Still sealed in original bag)! I'm not an expert and can't be 100% certain that the visor is original to this helmet, but it does seem period correct. It may have belonged to the late 1970's Bell Magnum helmet which is what the box was labeled as containing. It was in the box when I bought the helmet.
