Description: This watercolor set decorated my grandparents' Manhattan apartment in the 1980's. Ballard Designs was the decorator and chose these 2 paintings from Soicher-Marin Fine Art. Since 1983 Ballard Designs has offered a "unique curation of all periods and provenance with a distinctive European influence." Since 1959 Soicher-Marin has been a resource for top interior designers, especially for their vintage prints and sophisticated wall décor. Watercolor and ink Martini Pics 7 x 7-1/2" (total measurements 12-1/2 x 13-1/2") clean and in excellent condition. Simple white matting. Lightweight ornate silver wood frames, one has glass missing and a chip easily fixed. Priced accordingly. Soicher-Marin claims "Everything we create and produce is done so by people, by hand not machines, one piece at a time, just for you." Looking at the art without glass it certainly appears handmade but they are not signed and the artist is not listed on the back. So Chic!
