AUTHENTIC WOODEN Shur Strike Lippy Joe Minnow from the 1960s; No Longer Made

Description: On offer is a very nice older than vintage, Mid-20th Century wooden 3" bait casting size Shur Strike Lippy Joe minnow in the brown pike pattern made circa 1965 by the old Creek Chub Bait Company of Garrett, Indiana. It is in good/very good condition with intact eyes, body finish (some loss on the front left and along the right side--see photos), diving lip, attaching hardware, and treble hooks. This classic collectible is no longer being made. The tackle for sale is pre-owned and used. Please review the foregoing description and photographs carefully. I gently clean my sale items; however, I do not alter or modify them in any way. Anglers and collectors often prefer to own and use older tackle, especially earlier versions of lures still being manufactured, or models and patterns that have been discontinued. Older lures are often more valuable, have proven track-records of success, and are generally better made than many of today's versions. Frankly, older lures, especially those made out of wood, are just better investments. I rate the condition of an item on a scale of poor to excellent. I factor in age when making this assessment. The older an item, the more acceptable are wear and minor flaws. I ship in well-padded envelopes and boxes, and try hard to keep shipping costs down, using the least expensive delivery service that allows me to ship items securely--generally USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail. If I can ship multiple items in one parcel to the same buyer at the same time, I charge one shipping cost, and credit the buyer for any excess pre-paid shipping charges. The cost to ship outside of the United States is just too expensive. I do not warrant my items.
