Description: This elegant authentic Amish cotton and cotton blend churn dash / monkey wrench crib quilt is all treadle machine pieced and hand quilted, on a deep black background.It measures 30" X 36" and is in excellent condition, with no spots or wear. There is hand quilting around the piecework and in leaf, tulip, and heart designs in the background, all at 6 stitches to the inch. The back is black, the hand stitched binding is the same deep maroon color used in the interior, and the batting is thin. The quilt was made in the 3rd quarter of the 20th century. The WONDERFUL COLORS and GREAT CONDITION make this vintage AUTHENTIC AMISH crib quilt stand out -- it would make a terrific wall hanging!
