The painting depicts a Greek Mythology themed portrait oil painting showing the Lydian Queen Omphale, her slave Hercules and a winged cherub angel (Eros?). This is a copy of a famous oil painting painted by the artist, Charles Greyre in 1862. The painting is not old (see photos). The painting is a hand painted oil painting painted on canvas (see photos). The painting is framed in a painted wood and molded resin picture frame. The frame is too large to be shipped by me. You are welcome to pick up the frame and/or painting for me or pay and arrange your own shipping. This is a large painting. I will only ship the painting portion for free. Frame is only included if you can pick it up in person. This painting in total framed measures about 55+ inches high and it is about 43+ inches wide. The painting portion without the picture frame measures about 48 inches high and it is about 36 inches wide. The frame has a painted finish with with scuffs, scratches, finish losses and some wear. The painting has a tear in the canvas as shown, crazing to the paint and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This is a nice large decorative portrait and landscape interior oil painting to add to your collection. The FRAME may be too large for me to ship economically. I am selling the painting only if you want the frame as well you will have to pick up the frame at my location or arrange and pay for a shipping company to pick up the frame.
