It appears to have a lever on the bottom, but when I click the lever, nothing happens, but I am afraid to wind it as I do not want to ruin it. I took photos of the inside also, which appears very clean and intact. Again, I do not know anything about these, so I am selling it as is. It is a very nice antique piece. Measures almost 13" tall!
