Description: antique,handmade,miniature,German,box room dolls,house,c.1880's primitive,wood,plaster,metal. Door & windows are metal (window panes are just thin,plastic pieces,somewhat ill-fitting now.)Seems to be made mostly of wood but has been plastered on interior & exterior walls.The crucifix over the door,the bookshelf,Holy picture,little wall rug & clock (which is part wood but pendulums are painted onto wall) are all fixed into place.Everything else is removable.The dresser is metal,painted to look like wood,& the wooden pieces are very,very primitive.Some are rather lightweight & cheap looking but even still I truly admire the person who took the time & with the materials available in that period,crafted these wonderful pieces.The little Christmas tree,duck,the dog with a leg missing,the erzgebirge figure & the vintage celluloid dolls are not original to the house.Everything else is all original & unrestored. The room measures almost 11 3/4'' or 30 cms. wide x 8 1/2'' or 21.5 cms. depth x almost 8'' or 20 cms. high.*Please check sizes as this is a small room in comparison to some German rooms which can be found.*weighs approx..1.900 kilograms or 2.280 kilograms including all contents. Unrepaired/restored with many chips,knocks bangs,loss & generally many signs of use & wear commensurate with age.Happy to send pics. of any specific part on request.
