Description: Antique, Victorian Milk Glass Jewelry Rare Unusual Shape~Trinket Box 3 3/4” x 2” —This is a beautiful, jewelry box, made of milk glass. It measures about 2 inches tall, 3 3/4 inches long. The trim color is an aged gold. We have never seen one shaped like this; and it doesn’t appear in any of our research catalogs. So we surmise it is Rare and possibly made in the 1880’s to 1890’s. There is a logo of what appears to be an Eagle with the number 22. —The lid looks fantastic to us with no imperfections or chips. The rim has two small chips; one was overlooked by us; the other is definitely the size of a pin head. We see three hairlines; the one on the bottom could easily be mistaken for a casting flaw. The other one is connected to the pin head size chip and the third one is about 1/8 inch long and can be overlooked also.
