Description: This beautiful 1920's salt glazed stoneware blue & cream swastika pitcher would be a great addition to any collection. Before WWI the swastika was considered a symbol of good fortune. Both sides of the pitcher are decorated with a large embossed white swastikas and the top and bottom are banded with small ebossed blue swastikas. The handle has a thumb rest. The pitcher is 100 years old. There is a small chip on the top rim that doesn’t show well in the pictures. Also a small crack on the inside (can’t see it from the outside) that when displayed you can’t see it. The pitcher is unbranded as is usually the case with this type of stoneware.
