Description: Up for sale is a nice mid to late 1800s Slaw Board / Cutter. This was found in a house in Western Ohio and is likely of Ohio German heritage. What really makes this one really special is the cut out and the "feet" on the bottom. The cutout is a 4 leaf clover or cross type design. With the rounded top and the two feet it really looks figural. The best part, the cutouts are actually old original cutouts. There is good oxidation and wear to the insides of the cutouts. Some remnants of a black surface. Cool thing. 24 and 1/4 inches tall. About 6 and 1/4 wide. Condition: Nice condition for its age. Has an old split through the top. Some scratches. Edge wear, especially to the feet. Some other age cracks and separations. Nothing unusual for the age. Everything is very tight. Other than the split on the top nothing is too distracting. See photos and video.
