Description: This antique medical Mil-A-Meter gauge is a unique addition to any collection. Made in the United States, it is a rare find for collectors of vintage/antique scientific instruments. The gauge is made of high-quality materials. This was discarded from a hospital that was being painted years ago,in the 1950s. So I’m estimating 20th century.In researching found out it was a device used in electro therapy surgical healing surgical, particularly tumors . Not being in the medical field I do not know if it’s complete. Gauge was manufactured by Wappler E.Mfg.Co. N.Y. cabinet is hardwood possibly walnut &gauge rim is brass. The company supplying electric was the Northern Electric,Monteal. Please see all pictures for they are considered part of description.
