Description: Up for bid from an excellent Kansas City Missouri Estate is this Antique German Kestner Style Bisque Head Sawdust Filled Winking Doll 21" READ! There is a lot to unpack with this doll so I'm going to lay down the defects first. As stated this is a sawdust filled doll and of antique age, she has noticeably large tears in her left knee and underarms, exposing the inside stuffing causing the sawdust to spill out. I have taped up the largest culprit on the knee to help keep the innards intact. The bisque head has no cracks or chips but is worn and discolored in several areas, it is marked made in germany with a K. The wig has been glued down. I cannot stress enough that this doll is very old and worn, these dolls are usually in some distressed condition, during shipping there will be some shedding of the sawdust but I will pack the item as safely as possible - see photos for a more accurate description. It is in as found estate sale condition and I'll leave any light dusting and cleaning up to the new owner as we do not want to risk damaging the item.
