Description: Antique German Bisque 152 Hertel Schwab Character baby doll on Composition stamped body. Doll is restrung and can hold a nice pose. Stringing should be tight for another 20 or more years. Lovely cheerful character doll face with adorable blue glass sleep eyes that open and close well, painted eye lashes, open mouth with tongue and two upper teeth, dimples with double chin, full chubby rosy cheeks. Brown hair wig appears to be original (some hair pulls) and pate is on tight so did not remove. Doll is approximately 17" tall. Body of doll is stamped in red near butt. Jointed at shoulder and hip with swivel head. Composition body has some crazing chipping on some areas of doll (see pictures). All digits (fingers and toes) are accounted for. Dressed as found in a nice soft silk type dress and once undergarment, long socks and shoes. Incised back of head "Made in Germany 152 - 10" Please review all pictures they show best description.
