Description: Antique English (OMN) Creamer, Bakewell, Pears & Co 1877 AKA Ribbon Manganese Glow EAPGThis is a Fantastic Find. It is an Antique Bakewell, Pears & Co. Creamer / Small Pitcher in the English Pattern. This Patterns is also known as Ribbon. It was introduced in 1877, making this Creamer / Pitcher about 150 years old. It’s Motifs are Ribs / Columns and Panels. It is in Great Antique Condition – we do not see any chips, cracks or scratches. It measures approximately 6” tall, 6” from handle to rim, and 3” across only the rim. We did place this item under a black light and it does have a manganese glow. This is attributed to some American glass produced prior to 1915. This item is perfect for the EAPG collector.The Bakewell, Pears & Company operated out of Pittsburgh PA from 1807 until 1882.
