Description: Antique EAPG Pattern Glass Duncan & Son Snail Covered Compote 11 3/4" 1890s Here is a very attractive and very scarce antique pattern glass Duncan & Son "Snail" covered compote. It measures about 11 3/4" tall and about 6 7/8" diameter at top of base. It is in excellent condition overall with no chips or cracks except for a micro fleck or two on underside inside sharp edge of lid on which I can just catch a fingernail. There is a small thin ridge of glass on the lid about 1/4" long, done in the making. There is another small bump of excess glass about 1/8"across on lid along an edge near foot. There are minimal scattered surface marks. Glass clarity is excellent with no stains or haziness. Looks great. Please see photos.
